Description

This Crock Pot Beer Cheese Dip is packed with irresistible flavor and made from simple ingredients like cream cheese and sharp cheddar. It’s perfect for sharing at parties or enjoying with your favorite snacks!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ¾ cup lager
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 chopped green onion for garnish


Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in the Crock Pot.
  2. Cover with lid, set heat to HIGH, and cook for 1 hour, stirring every 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt or red pepper flakes as preferred.
  4. Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onion and accompanied by pretzels, kettle chips, grilled sausages, and veggies.

Notes

For a spicier dip, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
This dip can be kept warm in the Crock Pot for serving at parties.
