Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground veal or ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 pound italian sausage
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons granulated garlic or garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 10 grinds black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground meats in a large bowl.
  2. Add the grated parmesan and spices to the mixture.
  3. Mix gently by hand, being careful not to over mix.
  4. Form the mixture into balls slightly larger than golf balls.
  5. Place the meatballs in a non-stick pan and brown them on all sides, turning occasionally.
  6. Once browned, transfer the meatballs to a glass baking dish and cover with foil.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes. Verify the doneness of one meatball before serving.
  8. Serve with pasta, polenta, or on their own.

Notes

For juicier meatballs, ensure not to over mix the meat mixture.
Experiment with different seasonings to add a personal touch to the flavor.
These meatballs freeze well, making them a great option for meal prep.
