Description

This Peach Jam features irresistible flavor and simple preparation with fresh ripe peaches, lemon juice, and vanilla. Perfect for enjoying on toast or as a sweet gift!


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs fresh ripe peaches
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of water over medium-high heat, then blanch the peaches for 1 minute.
  2. Transfer them immediately to a cold water bath for 1 minute.
  3. Remove the skins from the peaches and set them aside.
  4. Slice the peaches in half and remove the pits, then slice the peaches.
