Description

This Steak Bowl is a flavor-packed dish featuring juicy steak, vibrant fresh veggies, and a tangy sauce. Perfect for a quick dinner or healthy meal that delights!

Ingredients

Scale
  • vegetable oil for greasing grill grates
  • 1.5 to 2 pound(s) flat iron steak or flank steak or sous vide steak
  • olive oil for cooking
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or to taste
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 3 tablespoons yellow mustard not dijon
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes depending on how hot you like it!
  • 1 batch quinoa or rice
  • 1 batch pickled red onions
  • 1 (5-ounce) bag garlic croutons coarsely smashed
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 (7-ounce) package green leaf lettuce or romaine

Instructions

  1. Remove steak from packaging and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Preheat grill to 450°F and clean grill grates.
  3. Oil the grill grates well with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Drizzle steaks with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  5. Place steak on the hot grill, close the lid, and cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 130-135°F for medium rare or 145°F for medium.
  6. Transfer the steak to a cutting board, tent loosely with foil, and rest for 10 minutes.
  7. Slice the steak very thinly against the grain.

Notes

Adjust red pepper flakes according to your heat preference.
Let the steak rest before slicing to retain its juices.
Feel free to add additional toppings like avocado or corn.
