- 3/4 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 12 oz chocolate chips
- 4 oz white chocolate melted
- 4 oz chocolate melted
- sprinkles, candy, or any toppings you like!
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Add the egg, vanilla extract, and salt to the bowl, mixing well to combine.
- Then, incorporate baking soda and flour, mixing until fully combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips to the batter.
- Spread the cookie dough into a greased 13×9" pan evenly and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the top is golden and the bars are cooked through. Let them cool completely before serving.
Notes
For extra flair, try mixing different types of chocolate chips.
Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting them for clean edges.
