- 48 red, white, and/or blue melting wafers
- 72 patriotic M&M's
- Festive sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350℉.
- Place one portion of cookie dough into each muffin cup. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden brown and cookies are slightly puffy.
- Remove the pan from the oven and place it on a wire rack. Turn off the oven.
- While hot, gently place two melting wafers in the center of each cookie, pressing down slightly.
- Return the muffin pan to the warm oven (which is turned off) for 2 minutes to soften the wafers.
- Take the pan out and immediately press three M&M's gently into each melted wafer. Add a pinch of festive sprinkles on top.
- Allow the cookie cups to set in the muffin pan for 30 minutes, then gently pop them out and cool completely on a wire rack.
Notes
Feel free to use other colors of melting wafers for different celebrations.
Make sure not to overcrowd the muffin cups—stick to one portion per cup for best results.
