Description

These 4th of July Rice Krispie Treats are easy to make and bursting with flavor! Featuring Rice Krispies, mini marshmallows, and vibrant sprinkles, they are a festive addition to any celebration. Perfect for gatherings, these treats are not only fun to make but deliciously enjoyable.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Red white and blue sprinkles
  • Red and blue food coloring (optional)


Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter in a large pot over low heat.
  3. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in the vanilla extract.
  5. Optionally, divide the mixture and add food coloring for vibrant layers.
  6. Stir in the Rice Krispies until they're evenly coated.
  7. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and gently press into an even layer.
  8. Sprinkle colorful toppings on top while still warm.
  9. Allow to cool for 30–45 minutes, then cut into squares and serve.

Notes

For a pop of color, try using different colors of sprinkles.
Ensure marshmallows are fully melted for a smooth texture.
Store leftovers in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
