Ingredients
Scale
- 1½ pounds salmon fillets, skin removed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon dried dill
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 2 tablespoons panko breadcrumbs (gluten-free or regular)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for about 3 to 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the salmon pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried dill, kosher salt, nutritional yeast, and panko, gently tossing until evenly coated.
- Place the salmon in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 5 to 7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. For a delightful texture, slightly overcook them as they taste great with a chicken nugget-like bite. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, reheating in the air fryer.
Notes
Feel free to experiment with spices according to your taste.
Serve with a dipping sauce for added flavor.
Leftovers can be enjoyed cold in salads or reheated.
