- 1½ cups granulated white sugar
- ¾ cup packed light brown sugar
- 4 large eggs, beaten
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup (optional, helps make these extra fudgy)

- 1¼ cups unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup (optional, helps add shine)
- Pinch of kosher salt
- ½ cup heavy whipping cream
- Candy coated chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350℉ and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving some paper hanging over the sides.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the almost melted butter and both sugars. Add the beaten eggs, corn syrup, and vanilla extract, whisking until combined.
- In another bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, smoothing out the top. Bake in the preheated oven for 28 to 32 minutes, or until just set and fudgy.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool completely. Carefully lift the brownies out using the parchment paper and transfer to a cutting board.
Notes
For an extra fudgy texture, consider using light corn syrup.
