Description

This Mango Margarita shines with its sweet, fruity flavor and simple preparation. Made with fresh ingredients, it’s perfect for gatherings or a relaxing evening.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 tsp agave syrup
  • 1 tbsp tajin
  • 1 ½ oz reposado or silver tequila
  • ½ oz orange liqueur (i use cointreau)
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 oz mango simple syrup
  • 1 dash orange or mango bitters (optional)
  • 2 cups ice (approx., divided)
  • garnish: slices of fresh mango, lime slice


Instructions

  1. Brush the rim of a glass with agave syrup and dip it into Tajin on a small plate. Set the glass aside filled with ice.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, mango simple syrup, and bitters if using.
  3. Add about 1 cup of ice cubes to the shaker and shake vigorously for a few seconds.
  4. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass and garnish with fresh mango and lime slices. Enjoy!

Notes

Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of mango syrup to your taste.
For a spicier kick, add more Tajin to the rim or use chili powder.
You can substitute the tequila with vodka for a different flavor profile.
