Description

This Mango Syrup offers an irresistible flavor that combines sweetness and fruity essence. With just a few ingredients like mango and sugar, it easily elevates any dish or drink. Perfect for enhancing pancakes, desserts, or beverages, it’s a must-try for anyone looking for quick, delectable homemade treats.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup diced mango (if using frozen, thaw first and drain off extra liquid)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine water, sugar, and diced mango.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, allowing the mango to soften and the mixture to thicken.
  4. Strain the syrup into a bowl, pressing down on the mango with a wooden spoon or spatula to extract maximum juice.
  5. Transfer the syrup to a bowl or pour it into a mason jar, then refrigerate until completely cooled before using.

Notes

If using frozen mango, ensure it is thawed and drained to avoid excess liquid.
Store the syrup in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your preference.
