Made with simple ingredients like flour, sugar, and milk, they’re quick to prepare and perfect for breakfast or a snack. Top them with berries, yogurt, or citrus for a refreshing twist!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons white granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups milk whole
  • 1 egg room temperature
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • berries
  • orange slices
  • yogurt

Instructions

  1. Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
  2. Make a well in the center, then add the milk, egg, and melted butter. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Scoop about 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake.
  5. Cook until browned on both sides, which takes just a few minutes.
  6. Serve hot or pack for later use in a lunch box.
  7. These pancakes also freeze well.

Notes

For an extra touch, serve with maple syrup or honey.
Feel free to mix in chocolate chips or nuts for added flavor.
Use a non-stick spray on the griddle for easy flipping.
