Description

This Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork Tenderloin features tender pork infused with rich barbecue sauce and spices. Easy to prepare, it’s a perfect choice for a quick dinner or hearty comfort food.


Ingredients

  • lb pork tenderloin, silverskin removed
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper


Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and use a clean paper towel to remove moisture from the pork.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture onto the pork.
  3. In the slow cooker, combine chicken broth, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until mixed, then add the pork and coat it with the sauce.
  4. Cover and slow cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours until the pork is tender enough to shred.
  5. Once cooked, shred the pork using two forks. You may transfer it to a cutting board to make it easier. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix it with the sauce.
  6. Serve the shredded pork on a bun, in a tortilla, or over nachos and salads.

Notes

Make sure to remove the silverskin from the pork for better texture and absorption of flavors.
This dish is perfect for meal prep, as the flavors deepen and intensify after a day in the fridge.
